Vermont Location Index
The Vermont Sales Location Index from Real Data Corp is the most complete and useful listing available for Vermont real estate professionals. If you're buying, selling, brokering or appraising, this index is your best "first source" for comparable sales. Real Data publishes the index using an edited and enhanced version of the data from the State of Vermont Department of Taxes transfer tax records.
Each month Real Data publishes a new edition of the index. Issues for the first two months of any quarter contain the most recent sales made available by the department during that month. For the last month of each quarter, you get a resorted eighteen-month sales history (with the new sales for the third month of the quarter included). In each new quarterly, we add the most recent three months and drop out the oldest three months. This gives you a single "rolling snapshot" of all the most recent sales reported for your area.
The location index is available by county for any number of counties up to statewide. Discounts apply for multiple counties.
The index lists all sales within each county alphabetically by street. The categories of information available for each sale include; street address or location, building type, acreage, Vermont use code (including before and after), assessed value and year, sale price, transaction type, special consideration, registry volume and page, date filed and seller/buyer names. "No-consideration" (or no $ sales) are included since these frequently provide information about associated sales which did have consideration.
All reports include a transaction and dollar volume summary page for each county. This page shows the monthly total number of sales, the number of sales for consideration and the total dollar volume of all sales in each town in the county. This report also shows the most recent date for which sales data is available in each town.
