Function Buttons

Teledex has many function buttons to help you set up your search, navigate through the results and find what you want.

Submit - sends your query to the Teledex server.

Undo - discards your current changes and restores the Search Criteria Page to the state it was in when you last submitted a successful query. Undo on Teledex works much like the undo in your word processor.

New Query - restores all Search Criteria Page settings to their defaults. This is the state that this page is always in when you first log-on.

Clear Buttons - restore the default state for that box or section. The clear button at the top left of both Required and Contingent Criteria restores all the defaults in that section. The label for each individual component of the Search Criteria page is located on top of the clear button for that component. To restore any component to its default state, simply click on its label.

Click the question mark next to any component of the Search Criteria Page for context sensitive help. Search help and help with hits are available in the Search Criteria Page title bar. Navigation help is available from the display index title bar. Detail help is available from the detail page title bar.

To purchase hits, click the "Buy Hits Now" button on the Search Criteria Page title bar.

Close your session by clicking the Log-Off button in the top right corner of the Search Criteria page.
